    Great base for exploring the Dolomites.

    Great base for exploring the Dolomites. Lovely setting with mountains on all sides of the lake which was also very picturesque to stroll around or you could take a pedalo or a rowing boat. Recommended eateries: Quinz and Pizzeria Eidelweiss. Great if you wnat to join the queue for the car park for Tre Cime bright and early to ensure you get in.

    A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are...

    A lot of people stay in Cortina D'Ampezzo because there are lot of lodging, activity and food options. Staying at Misurina, however, is magical and peaceful. There are just enough options for lodging and food. It's also very close to Tre Cime and Lago di Braies. If you want a quieter and more peaceful stay, I would go with Misurina.

    Very well set up apartment, well equipped, good facilities. The location is right next to Lake Misurina - this is a plus for boating, swimming as well as hiking; many hikes start near Misurina. Downside are the many day tourists that can be there during the summer months. Very good coop near by. Lovely hosts.

    The hotel offered a breathtaking view, with the serene lake stretching out below and mountains in the distance. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, adding to the comfort and overall pleasant experience. The breakfast was ok though the variety of options was somewhat limited.

    The location was incredibly good. We could start hiking directly from the hotel and didn't have to take a car or bus. The rooms are new and modernly furnished and met all our expectations. The food in the restaurant was really good! We really enjoyed it after a long hike.
