We had an excellent stay with a very gracious host Marcella, who speaks fluent English. She met us at the downstairs entrance at the agreed upon time, and showed us the property. Up two flights of stairs, you enter a hallway where both large bedrooms are. Each bedroom has it's own large bathroom that is accessible from the hallway. All impeccably clean. The beds were super comfortable. We had a large double bed, and our two boys had a large double bed and a large single bed in bedroom #2. Each bedroom had a well functioning and modern AirCon unit. Upstairs via a flight of stairs connected to the internal hallway is a decent-size kitchen with a Lavazza coffee-maker, fridge-freezer and a small table for family breakfasts. From here you can enter the large private terrace, equipped with a table and chairs. We did not use the outside, as it was too hot. The bus-stop to Taormina is 130 meters from the apartment, and we used it every day. We shopped at the nearby 'Mini Marked de Anna' only 60m away, and they make awesome fresh sandwiches there. Note their opening hours; closed during early afternoon. We had great brunches (omelettes, scrambled eggs) at nearby 'Ristorante Arco Rosso' another 90m away. This restaurant has a fantastic owner that speaks perfect English.

I'd like to be as objective as possible. First entry at 12:25 AM, the apartment was clean. It smelled very unpleasant, but maybe it wasn't properly aired.

Perfect location to get there by car and then park it there and use the funicular to get to Taormina (the funicular stop is a 5 minutes walk from the hotel). Private entrance to the beach located super near. The staff (Angelo and Gianluca) would just elevate your experience, and I advice you to have lunch and dinner there.

Perfect location, perfect view and perfect staff. Room was not big but enough for us. Breakfast and car parking included in daily rate and this were quite important in Taormina. 15 mins walk from hotel to Taormina city center which was a pleasant walk.

I’ll start from the beginning of the day where we went to breakfast which was incredible. Food, drinks and everything was delicious and we got top notch service. All staff was nice, mostly asking if you need anything else, or if it’s something which they can help with. At reception we firstly get introduction about Taormina, including recommendation from hotel’s owner, what we can do within our whole stay in Taormina. Hotel is offering great services, like shuttle to beach with great price of sunbaths, wide range of tours around Taormina or Sicily. Every time when we needed some guidance or help there was someone who were happy to help. In the night there’s a beautiful terrace, where you can drink any kind of drinks, shots or whatever from hotel lobby bar. Great for lazy night after whole day at the beach. Or pick one of the restaurant nearby, since hotel is located in the city centre of Taormina. Can’t say anything bad about this hotel, we had amazing stay there. Thank a lot to staff of Hotel Casa Adel.

    A down-to-earth beach town with none of the glitz and glitter of Taormina. Nice enough beaches, crystal clear water and a few beach bars where you can eat. Perfect stay away from busy Taormina, with hourly bus-service. Ristorante Arco Rosso was our favourite restaurant.

    1. Very close to Taormina and Godfather filming location 2 regular hourly buses to taormina Isola bela, good services by train to Catania,Airport, Mesina 3 hour and a half drive to ETNA 4. Not so touristic, which means affordable hotels and villas , very calm and peaceful Wonderful cafes and restaurants

    It's a great location.

    It's a great location. Plenty of good restaurants at reasonable prices. Locals are v friendly. Good transport links to Taormina, Isola Bella etc if you don't have transport. Not far from Mount Etna ans Savoca which is incredible. Close to Catania Airport. Toamina is great for shopping, men's and ladies wear, pottery, food gifts etc. The gardens are lovely shaded peaceful place to sit in. Mazzeo is quieter than Letojanni, but its only a fifteen minute walk if you want to go to for a livelier night out. Erco Rossi is our fave bar and restaurant.
