Definitely recommended for those looking for a simple, nice place to stay. Walking distance to all one needs for a fine holiday all‘italiana: beach, bars, restaurants and cultural events on the airy coast or charming old town. Breakfast at Bar Matteotti to start the day. Exceptional and I mean EXCEPTIONAL breakfast and included in the price. Really friendly and helpful and efficient service The room was airy and a good size with a very comfortable bed, great view and good location (10 mins walk to the historic centre which is well worth a visit) There was a very relaxed and calm feel to the whole hotel. Nothing too much trouble and lovely sitting areas inside and out I am not sure how it is 2 star really as considerably superior to saver 3 start places I have stayed in in the past twelve nights as I cycle around and move day by day Don’t hesitate to book

The best part was the people who run it—a father and son who tend to every detail and make you feel like you are visiting their home and not a hotel. Also, the land out in the countryside and the beautiful villa-style home were special. We had dinner there as well, and the food was excellent.

This is a really comfortable hotel, and quite for almost the centre of Alassio. The hotel is there to serve the restaurant, and the breakfast service is immaculate. If needed, the A/c works very well... one block away from the sea, it makes a big difference.
