I can not imagine a better place to have stayed this summer on our visits of Cinque Terre and the Portofino area. The room is fantastic and has a breathtaking view of the sea and surrounding mountains. No need for a TV (there is one, don’t worry) you have three windows facing the astounding scenery. The experience is multisensorial as you get gusts of fresh air and smells of aromatic herbs while every now and then you get to hear the harmoniuos sounds of the bells from the churches on the surrounding hills (during the day of course and at a pleasant intensity). The bed is comfortable, the room big and well lit, the bathroom clean and well equipped. The breakfast is generous and very pleasant as you get to enjoy the wonderful view and peace of the Leivi mountains on the terrace of Villa Rocca. Most importantly our stay was made fantastic by Stefania and Getto who have been the perfect hosts. They have been friendly and supportive, providing solutions for our every need we had and going above and beyond to help us. If you are not a fan of walking as we are, we reccomend coming by car or renting one. We did not come with the car and we had a great time walking down the hill and through Chiavari. Stefania has offered us to arrange for a rental, even negotiating a good price, but we were more than happy to get by on our own feet. A great big thank you to Stefania and Getto for welcoming us in their B&B and for their freindship. Looking forward to come back here soon and explore more of Liguria.

Right from the start this hotel has been fabulous! The location is perfect, our room was stunning…twin balconies overlooking the beach!, car parking space right outside, super friendly & helpful staff who spoke perfect English (especially Mattia) delicious food & wonderful decor! Absolutely everything was fantastic. The staff are incredibly friendly. The breakfast spread was excellent - freshly baked cake every day, croissants, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats, cereals and coffee from a machine. The afternoon apperitivos are very reasonably priced with good snacks. The room was very clean and smelled great. I was in a small double room facing the railway which could be very loud but closing the window blocked out all of the noise. Great location - walking distance to both the Lavagna and Chiavari train stations, the ocean right outside and lots of restaurants nearby. Safe location for a solo female. Highly recommend staying here.

Everything ! Coming from EHL in Switzerland, I rarely do a comment regarding hotels ! But this hotel deserved it ! - only 3 stars.... However, this place offer everything you need ! People happy and always available ! beautiful garden which dig you into Italian charm and peaceful location ! all furnitures seem new and designed with the hotel spirit. Swimming pool with a 5 stars hotel view (roof top) where there is also a Sauna a small fitness! Breakfast is also remarkable ! This hotel is like an oasis (flowers everywhere) in the middle of the town and close to every touristic place. Thx again to Federica (director) for the experience we've been through into her Hotel ! I've rarely seen an hotel where I would give more than I paid ! Quality / price , Fantastic !
