Although I was there on business, the fresh air, mountain views and scenic town made it an excellent, relaxing experience. It's close to Merano (which is much better known and visited), and also fairly touristy, but with the businesses aimed more at cultured tourists rather than mass tourism (not sure if there were any chain hotels there), interested in arts and finer dining.
