A lovely little place with great amenities and activities for all. It is best known for it's hiking/walking paths, but it is also a bit of a mecca for cyclists. The village is small but well equipped with all the amenities. It's also within a 30-45 minute walk to Merano, either via the higher pathway (i.e. the Algunder Waalweg) or via lower streets. This lower area of Lagundo, where my hotel is, is not the best. There is another area of Lagundo, higher in the side of the mountain, with better view and nicer ways to take a ride. But Lagundo is often chosen to stay, because it's near Meran. Center of Meran is about 2,5 km from the hotel.
