A charming town that I chose more for its location as a stop...
A charming town that I chose more for its location as a stop for me along my route, but I was pleased to find myself in a friendly neighbourhood, only a short walk from a stunning little old town. I found a wonderful artisinal meat and cheese shop where I bought some additive-free prosciutto for a great price. Sadly, I didn't get the name of the shop as I'd thought it was on the carrier bag but it wasn't. Great place for all those who want to travel this area in Puglia. The historical city centre is charming, the old Svevian Fortress is impressiv. Good locations for lunch and fine dining. Altamura, Gravina, Puttignano, Matera, Martina Franca........everthing closed byGuest review byHomenaje

We had a delicious dinner, trip to the theatre and a leisurely walk around town eating gelatos, and BnB Via Roma was the perfect base. It's centrally located, right down the street from the train station, with a fantastic balcony. The beds were amazingly comfy and Eugenio really looked after us. We had the most amazing one-night stay and wish we could have stayed longer. You're right by the church di Santa Lucia, which is worth a visit (after 4pm).Guest review byIainUnited Kingdom
