From Lombardia's castle has panoramic view, Etna, Callascibetta, valley, Bassa Enna, old town. There is a supermarket near castle. Velvendere square is 10minutes from bus stop and 20min from bus station. Enna is a beautiful and historic city, in a spectacular hilltop location with stunning views. We found it a very friendly town, with very few tourists in March. It can be very cold even then, when windy, so pack warm clothes. Worth the bus journey. The views from Enna are spectacular. We had a beautiful meal at Il Mito di Kore on the recommendation of our hosts. We saw the cathedral and walked as far as the castle which was closed for renovation.Guest review byJudyIreland

We welcomed the cool stone rooms given the heat of the day. Decent shower, towels and spacious cool room. Fabricio recommended his family's restaurant, Bistro Paradiso, which we went to. You must go, it's got an amazing secret garden and the food was great. Local produce and fresh fruit on breakfast (we didn't get this everywhere).
