This accommodation was just in the right place and time. We enjoyed the surroundings and the nice restaurant we found in the town. The B&B we had was excellent and the trip from Dorgali was so beautiful that we had almost to stop at all the scenery stops. The location is simply stunning.
The location is simply stunning. In addition the way that the buildings have been designed to blend in with the landscape and stunning garden areas makes it a joyful place to stay. Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat.
Dorgali is quite a small town, with limited places to eat. There is not much to do in Dorgali itself. So a car is essential. There are some good value pizzerias, some bars and a couple of high quality restaurants. We had a memorable meal at Corte Barisone, some excellent food at Merula Cafferia (but were suprised by thge prices which were nearly as high as London here) and we loved our beers, apertifs and burgers at the great value Gallo Nero bar. Was nice, very tranquil, enough shade and sun and a little wind. Enjoyed that very much! The house was clean, good airco and well organized. We loved our private outdoor kitchen. By car easy to drive to supermarket and Cala Gonone. Hostess Celia is very nice and informative. Natural pool is not so big, but nice for a little swimming and relaxing/sunbathing at the pool. It was wonderfully clean, spacious and had all the amenities we needed - including excellent air conditioning in each room (very welcome given that it was 45 degrees outside!). Several balconies on which to watch life in the town go by below. Peaceful, yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of the village.
