Bordighera is nice but very difficult to find parking. We were 15 minute walk from our hotel. Good public transport for surrounding areas. The hotel had private beach but difficult to go in the sea If you are not a good swimmer because of all the stones. The old town is quite nice but we found the restaurant miriage bit over rated. Bordighera is a beautiful town, both the old part and the new. It has an interesting history and it’s worth going to the Clarence Bicknell museum. Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter.
Bordighera is a lively town with an interesting old quarter. The beaches are pebble and shingle but varied and plentiful. I would recommend La Reserve where you can swim of the rocks and eat sea food in the restaurant. Access to the hilltop villages is easy and well worth a detour or two.
