Great area for visiting othe towns on the lake.
Great area for visiting othe towns on the lake. Great for walking with path to both Garda and Lazise with bars along the way if you felt the need to stop. These areas were also connected by the ferry if you only anted to walk one way. Plenty of choice of resturants and bars. More touristy than I imagined, very busy with German / Dutch travellers, however, this isn’t a bad thing as although busy it was very civilised. Weather was great and getting around was so easy with local buses and ferry’s. Transfer from Verona airport is less than 30 mins and arranged by the hotel at a reasonable cost. Easy to travel round Lake Garda via bus or on Lake Ferry to other towns or further afield to Verona, Brescia or even via train to Milan or Venice for the day.
