The view over the side of the cliff to the ocean was stunning. Sun terrace was wonderful with tables/chairs and sun loungers. Bedroom and bathroom were large and beautiful. Massimo was a fabulous host, breakfast buffet was appetizing. Coffee was great too - made personally by the breakfast staff.

What a fabulous place. The staff are exceptional, as is the attention to detail. The owner, Marcello, is the most wonderful host. I got lost and arrived well after my check in time. Missed out on going to a restaurant. Marcello said he would bring me a complimentary glass of wine and returned with bread, cheese, cooked and crude ham, plus another selection of cheeses and some beautiful mushrooms in olive oil!!! How incredibly kind of him to be so thoughtful and generous. It was a first for me to be treated so kindly. He deserves a huge hug which I admit I gave him. What an amazing time I had. Breakfast was beautiful too! Thank you to all of them. The room was perfect as well! This property has been created with style and loving care. Please visit there. You will be delighted.

Everything was perfect!!! It was a separate small house, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The owners are very kind and friendly people, many thanks to them for their hospitality, and for their patience and support when I locked the door leaving the key inside at 10 pm:-) Very good point to stay on Amalfi coast. There are regular buses from Amalfi (direction Agerola), and even direct buses from/to Napoli. The hotel is about 5-7 min walk from bus station Bomerano, and about 15 min walk from start of Path of the Gods (if you do not like extreme hiking, do the part of this trail Bomerano - Nochelle, then take a bus from Nochelle. You can also walk downstairs from Nochelle to Positano, but it is challenging as there are about 700 stairs, it is more difficult than Path of the Gods).

The host was an absolutely wonderful man, very kind and friendly. He waited up for me to arrive late and went out of his way to purchase some gluten free items for me to eat for breakfast. Many options for breakfast for those that can eat gluten too. The rooms are beautiful and clean, great aircon and very comfy. Close to restaurants and path of the gods walk, I would send everyone here

Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on...

Agerola provides an escape from the tourist busy towns on the Amalfi coast. It is higher in elevation than the towns of Amalfi, Positano and Maiori. These towns are port towns and in the busy travel months are always full of tourists. However, there is more to do in these towns than in Agerola, and if you plan to only stay in one of those towns, only go between 2 close towns, spend your vacation time on the beach, then I would recommend to stay in one of the coast towns. If you want a more central point to all of these and other towns (ex. Sorrento, Ravello, etc...) and plan to travel each day to a new town and a quiet place to rest at night, then Agerola is a great place to stay. If you stay in Agerola and since the roads are one lane both ways, you have to factor in travel times to all other towns (in case you need to catch a ferry, have dinner reservations, etc...).

The small town feel of Agerola was great as we arrived from Rome which was really chaotic Loved the rooms. Better if there was an elevator for those staying in the upper storeys. Love the breakfast. Better if more helpers rather than just the 1 person who was overwhelmed by the needs of everyone. Value for the money no equal. Was the best deal in our Italy tour

Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off...

Agerola was a small village that was used as a drop off point by the hotel shuttle from where either a private or public bus could be caught to Amalfi on the coast. The were several cafes and restaurants around the place for a coffee whilst waiting for the bus. The area would be extremely attractive for hikers which we are not.

A quiet and peaceful area with many possibilities and attractions. Excellent public transport connections. Close to beaches, mountain trails, picturesque towns and restaurants. Excellent hotel infrastructure. Various types of shops - from grocery stores to hiking equipment. Limited but free public parking. Scooters available for hire. Public laundries.

We loved where we stayed.

We loved where we stayed. Last year, we visited the Amalfi Coast which was beautiful. This year we went to Capri, which was amazing. The local shops were great and the people are very friendly and helpful. We ate locally or cooked and had a few favourite spots. It was easy to walk around where we stayed, for longer trips we had the rental car. We could ask our host for directions and tips on where to visit.

Antonio was very friendly and helpful. The room was amazing! Clean, spacious, nice and comfortable. I would definately choose the same hotel if I would come back to Bomerano Agerola. Very close to the start of Sentieri degli Dei / The path of Gods.

The staff and the young owner were very helpful with suggestions how to spend the day, were to go and see. The hotel is very clean, the bed very comfortable, spacious room and bathroom, and free parking. The view from our room was breathtaking!
