The annual music festival was great as ever with fine program and performing artists. The new church has outstanding acoustics and do not forget do have a glance at the old church from 1887 and the Snorri Sturluson bath originated from 13th century.Guest review byMagnúsIceland - 10.0
We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet.
We stayed about 20 min away in a private chalet. But there is a hotel there, location is good if you want to explore the western section of Iceland. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was very good. The staff was very helpful and friendly.Guest review byCarolUnited States - 10.0
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss.
We very much enjoyed visiting Hraunfossar and Barnafoss. We loved Krauma and seeing the Deildartunguhver Hot Springs. We ate at Hotel Á and the Rock 'n' Troll restaurant--also one I would recommend.Guest review byMills

Would recommend a stop if you are heading to Iceland - the cabin itself is perfectly self contained and offered everything you needed to cook, clean and even additional cooking essentials so you don’t have to buy too much. The location was brilliant - wonderful views across the valley to the mountain ranges beyond.
