    The Hallormsstaður area is on a beautiful lake with the largest forest in Iceland nearby. Several significant waterfalls, including the 420 ft. Hengifoss, are minutes away by car. And yet the area is just 15 minutes from Egilstaðir and all its city amenities. Really an ideal location for exploring Eastern Iceland!

    Everything was just perfect! The location is peaceful in the middle of the forest. The room was big, with amazing view to the forest, lake and the sky! The breakfast was delicious, dinner little bit expensive but very tasty. The receptionist was a very nice girl, who congratulated us with engagement 😸 The private sauna was amazing and clean. In addition we saw northen light from the window of our room🤩 The best hotel we had in Iceland! Good job for the hotel and everyone who is responsible for caring for it!

    Great place to stay, clean and tidy with all the facilities you need, stunning scenery off a quiet road.. you will need to bring some food with you, no shops nearby but there is a hotel/restaurant about 13km away which serves food

    The hotel was located in a forest, a different view regarding the past dazs. The checkin process went fast. The room was quite spacious and we had a great view. Everything was very clean. Breakfast was OK

    It is mix of camping and hotel. Camping is closed in winter so only 2 dedicated rooms are available. Very nice for staying.
