The place was in the middle of the cozy village. Guys who look after it were very helpful and even when I struggled with the electronic door lock in the middle of the night - everything was solved in a most efficiant way.

We had a very pleasant stay at the guesthouse. Everything was clean and modern. The breakfast had a lot of variety and was plentiful. Would definitely recommend to stay here on your trip around Iceland.

We spent one lovely night at the hotel. The room was really spacious and the view, amazing! Breakfast was delicious with quality ingredients. The staff so kind and accommodating. There’s a supermarket 5 min walk from the hotel. So far our best stay while in Iceland!

Nice and charmy guesthouse located very centrally in Stykkisholmur. Room was spacious and clean, and the staff very friendly. Nice breakfast, and we even got to see the northern lights!

Cozy and well furnished apartment, well equipped and clean kitchen. Comfortable bed. Absolutely recommended, unfortunately we only spent one night :) Sleeping overlooking the pond was really relaxing
