Our stay at THE PLANET was exceptional.. We reached the property at night and in the morning we woke up with an amazing view of luscious tea plantation .. Staffs were friendly. They have arranged jeep for kollukkumalai sunrise .The total cost for kollukkumalai jeep safari is INR 3500.00 ..However we (me n my husband) paid only INR 1400 as we shared with other guests (Total of 5 )..They also guided us to the nearby sights like 1800 m zipline , 600 m zipline and Elephant Abode dam.. They have also arranged evening trekking to phantom hills to view sunset which is complimentary Food was delicious and worth the money ...We as a couple spend only INR 900 for each meal (lunch /dinner , breakfast is complimentary).. If you want an escape from the city life and indulge yourself in the tranquility of nature , this property is definitely recommended

It's a beautiful place with great views. A very friendly manager, organized a dinner at a late check-in. The room is large, clean, and has a comfortable mattress. There was a magnificent sunrise in the morning, with a very beautiful view of the hills. Thank you for your hospitality and wish you all the best.

Beautiful resort. Attentive, friendly, and professional staff. The room was outstanding with incredible views (see picture). The bed was comfortable. Trips to the tea plantations were organised by the resort, as were transfers. We also had some great treatments. The food was really good. We thoroughly recommended the SpiceTree Rajakumari.

As a young traveler from Italy, I always look for unique stays that offer both comfort and a local touch. Veu Munnar Retreat completely exceeded my expectations! Nestled in the middle of lush greenery and tea plantations, this place is a dream for nature lovers. The rooms are spacious, super clean, and have stunning views of the misty hills. Waking up to the sound of birds and the fresh mountain air was an experience in itself. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with anything. They even arranged a tea plantation tour and a trek for me, which made my stay even more special. Food was another highlight was delicious Kerala cuisine, full of flavors, and they even accommodated my requests for something less spicy. The WiFi was fast, which was great for staying connected, but honestly, I enjoyed disconnecting and just soaking in the peaceful surroundings. If you're looking for a place to unwind and experience Munnar beyond the usual tourist spots, Veu Munnar Retreat is the perfect choice. Highly recommend it for solo travelers, couples, or anyone who loves nature and tranquility! Grazie mille to the amazing team, I’ll definitely be back!

    Suryanelli is one of the best visit if you love hill...

    Suryanelli is one of the best visit if you love hill stations and tea. You could get grade A and B teas from here. And since this is the highest tea factory in the world, the taste of the tea is also amazing. Also, the road that leads to this place is really good for bike rides and from the trekking point to the viewpoint, you could also enjoy an extreme off-road trip.

    Travel from Munnar to Pooppara itself is a pleasant...

    Travel from Munnar to Pooppara itself is a pleasant experience. Suryanelli is not a big city but the places that we can visit from there are fantastic. Kolukkumalai Sunrise Point (must ensure that you reach the hill top before sunrise and for that, you should book in advance and must reach the jeep safari point before 4.30 am), Anayirangal Dam, Sunset View from Phantom Hill (for those who like adventure as one need to walk steep hill to reach there and to see the sunset, should reach the base camp before 4 pm). I must admit that I reached there late and therefore, I had to walk alone and as it was late, I had to return halfway!
