Uttranchal Homestay is the bestest homestay with family or Couple. We stayed there with family, loved everybit of our stay from the staff and the chef the pahadi cuisines. The Rooms were extremely clean. They were very helpful during our stay we felt like away from home to a home. If by any chance you get to meet Uncle do meet him. We were lucky to meet Uncle he made us taste some real pahadi food. I am wishing to visit pithoragarh again to stay here

Our stay at Apna Ghar was a much needed respite from the craziness of Delhi and surrounds. The town of Chaukori is so peaceful and this hotel perfectly encapsulates the feeling of getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sumit, the hotel owner is so kind and welcoming to all, and made us feel right at home at Apna Ghar. It feels more like a homestay as Sumit will kindly offer his hospitality, conversation and life experience with you. The home-cooked meals are delicious, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the sunrise view from the balcony is stunning. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

This new build hotel offers fantastic views over the Himalaya and has been furnished to a high spec. The owner could not have been more welcoming and in the time that I spent there I felt like part of his family. The hotel is exceptionally good value for money and is just a short distance from Hanging Rock where the whole panorama of the Kumaon mountains can be seen. Great views of Panchachuli. Even a friendly dog called Coco. What's not to like?!

At night, sit by the fire and gaze up to the clear sky with shining stars. The clear water and vast landscapes will leave one with a breath taking experience. Relax on the hammocks and listen to the sound of the river which is tranquil and invigorating. A timeless soundtrack that connects us to the natural world. Hobo Huts stay was priceless, truly a place of heaven on earth. It was waking up to the sound of the flowing river and chirping of birds. Mr Titu is a fantastic and knowledgeable host. I would certainly recommend Hobo Huts to everyone. Definitely visit Hobo Huts again with a longer stay.

Everything is just amazing! The location is the highlight of this stay. Be sure you get up early to see the great white Himalayan range just behind the hotel. The dogs Julie, Mickey and the big boy Bhaalu are just adorable. Simple things like the quality of Air, Water and the radiant sun just heighten the experience. The food is served in the thick brass utensils which give a very village vibe which i loved. Also, they made me a halwa instead of a cake which was a welcome change. Words cannot describe the love i have for my time spent here. It was a time full of peace, serenity and comfort. Thanks to all the staff my stay was incredible as they made me feel like i was at home. The warmth in which they received me and made sure i was attended to was unparalleled to any other experience i have had in India. The food was sensational. Seriously very high quality food that belongs in a top class restaurant. The rooms themselves are luxury for the location which is tucked away off the road amongst a lovely forest. I was extremely comfortable in the accomodation. It was very spacious, clean and all the towels, quilts and amenities were of high quality. The bathroom was large and a pleasure to use. I was very comfortable here. The surrounding nature is beautiful and the view is magical. The sound and sight of the birds and even of a deer or two made the experience delightful. I wish i could have stayed longer! I want to thank all involved at this accomodation for a stay that i will remember forever.

Kundan is an ideal host who attends to every small detail guests are looking for. Deepak and Chandan cooked delicious food, and their hospitality is top notch. Am surprised to have come back with such a memorable experience at such a remote place.
