    Stranorlar is quiet but great location for exploring donegal which is without doubt one of my favourite places in Ireland. It is right next to ballybofey which is a bit more lively with its lively pubs.

    Great location, walking distance to Kees Hotel, ,( food delicious, the team are fantastic and live music at the weekend, its a must during your stay in Stranorlar)short walk into Ballybofey, lovely walk along the River Finn, Drumboe Woods, public transport ( Number 64 bus) will take you to Derry and Galway with plenty of stops in between, for example Donegal Town or Sligo, neighbouring town of Letterkenny The people of Stranorlar are very friendly and helpful !

    It's an extremely busy spot with tail backs for commuters, probably needs to be bypassed. A lot of derelict buildings but that can be said for a lot of small towns/villages. Some lovely flower beds planted.

    everything about hotel was excellent this was our second visit so we knew what to expect. We ate in evenings in bar which was very tasty. Breakfast was plentiful with good selection of food. Room was spacious and comfortable.
