The cottages were in a remote but lovely location. A short walk into the village where there are some nice restaurants and a good supermarket. The house itself was a little bit 'tired' in places but comfortable enough and very clean. Being remote and on a farm , need to expect the sounds of the countryside but it did not cause a problem. In fact, it was quite entertaining having a large pig wanting to come in an join you for breakfast. It was nice to crossover from the cottage and see the varied selection of animals resident on site. Would highly recommend as a base for exploring Connemara Park and we enjoyed a walk up Diamond Hill which is very close by.

    This area has many wonderful walks and beaches. Most spectacular is Glassillaun Beach, clean white sand and clear water make it a fantastic place for swimming. Local pubs including Paddy Coyne's in Tully Cross have good pub grub. Another gem is the Books at One in Letterfrack.
