A light or full breakfast was available right at the hotel. We were able to change rooms when we found out there isn't an air conditioner in the hotel, and we wanted a better breeze for sleeping at night. They recommended some great local restaurants within a short walking distance to try and we loved those as well. For such a small town, it was one of our favorites to spend some quiet time walking through downtown and finding great places to eat.

The kind and helpful staff went to great lengths to help me when we needed to sort out getting a lost wallet from Scotland. They helped me search for options and then helped me to book another night to sort things through. They were just amazing. The room was a comfortable refuge while we sorted out what to do. From the second I stepped into Bealkelly Country House, I was amazed. Anita was such a welcoming host from start to finish. The room was top of the range along with the great scenery. Anita cooked us our breakfast and dinner and my god, I haven't had a nicer Italian chicken in my life!!! This was an ideal location for a getaway with my partner. I will be definitely returning again!!!

We just stayed for one night, but definitely would book again. Cute coffee shop downstairs with good choices for breakfast. They do Lunch as well, and dinner on weekends.
