We spent 5 glorious days at The Sira recently in Feb. 2025, and the hotel exceeded expectations. The key difference... the staff. Every encounter was personal, authentic, and thoughtful. I can't praise the staff enough at this hotel, which truly made it the highlight of our stay in Indonesia. There was a slight hiccup when first arriving but the staff did everything they could to make us feel relaxed. The quality and range of food was the best we had in all of Indonesia, and they offered free kayaks, paddle boards and snorkels for their private beach. Truly this is paradise! Tip: I highly recommend the snorkeling excursion they offer. You have your own personal guide who knows all the best spots and points out kinds of fish that we wouldn't have spotted ourselves!

We arrived with high expectations, and Oberoi exceeded them in every way. They catered to every little request with perfection. At first, we thought we might get bored, but in the end, the team went above and beyond to make our stay the highlight of our trip through Indonesia. Having traveled to 80 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels, I can confidently say this is one of the best. And the food—absolutely heavenly! I already miss the breakfasts with those breathtaking views, not to mention the incredible dinners. Worth every cent. Thank you for an unforgettable experience!

This was our second visit to the Lombok Lodge in less than 12 months so saying that we loved our stay here is an understatement. The team of friendly, professional and obliging staff certainly made our visit even better than the last. A little piece of paradise that is tucked away in the north west of Lombok has incredible views both inside and outside. We had enjoyed a "Time Together" package on our last visit which I will always highly recommend. There are many other packages available and one can certainly curate whatever your heart desires. On our trip this time we really just wanted time to stand still, slowly soaking in our 3 gorgeous days, making the most of the extensive yet and delicious breakfast and lunch menus. Let's not forget Chef Jiwa's afternoon teas which is a firm favourite! The Lombok Lodge has a beautiful wellness center with lovely therapists who are ready to spoil you with a treatment of your choice. Being avid swimmers we enjoyed the amenities of their '25m' swimming pool where swimming laps can easily and enjoyably be done when alone. We also found swimming and snorkeling in the bay out front really great as the reef was teaming with corals and fish. Granted it may be clearer on the Gili Islands (which is a must) but this was pretty good for us. Be sure to wear a float so that little fishing boats can see you on the water. As I'm writing this post I'm planning our third visit back. I can't begin to describe the quality and the attention to detail that The Lombok Lodge has in all departments. After a delicious morning Nespresso, my favourite part of the day is breakfast, chatting to the staff and practicing very basic Indonesian Bahasa. I can't begin to name each one of the amazing team as I don't want to leave anyone out but they are very accommodating and obliging of your needs, no matter what. If you haven't visited The Lombok Lodge yet, what are you waiting for?

We stayed 4 nights at Bale Jukung and had a very good time. The lodges are located in a beautiful garden. The hosts have created a beautiful green paradise. You can drink coffee from their own roasted beans or taste the homemade honey. On Fridays there will be great live music.

    Fantastic staff who knew all our names the first day. Customer service one would expect at a 5 star resort was exceeded. Many activities can be booked through the hotel but the highlight was swimming with the turtles on Gili island. Very quiet resort but still very enjoyable with children.

    The hotel has a great pool and a lovely beach. The breakfast was good, but the coffee was the worst I had on our holiday. The bathroom was amazing, although there was a very small pound in the bathroom with two big fish in it, which was sad to see. The spa was lovely and they have a very good although small gym. Lots of activities.
