I knew that I wanted to visit Lillafured but, beyond that, I didn't know much. Hotel Szeleta turned out to be an excellent find. For me, the Palota Lillafured was completely out of my budget-range... but Hotel Szeleta was not :) . Hotel Szeleta and Lillafured are easily reached from Miskolc... I took the tramway from the train station all of the way to the end, and then transferred to Bus 5 or Bus 15, both of which head up to Lillafured. Hotel Szeleta is in a pretty town in the valley called Also-Hamor, so downstream from Lillafured. I think it was about 1- 1.5 km to walk to Lillafured by way of Felso-Hamor, another pretty town with the stream running through it. I was able to have a reasonable lunch at the restaurant in Palota and could walk their beautiful grounds... so it all worked out. In Also Hamor, there appeared to be some restaurants geared toward tourists... but as it was off-season they were not open yet.

It was very good place for stay! Staff is very friendly. Cleanse was perfect. Warm outside swimming pool-just perfect. One of the Best breakfast I ever seen in hotels! Great spa with spa rituals! Must visit place!

Nice little hotel, situated in quiet neighborhood, 10 min walking from the Cave bath. Room was clean and object has guarded parking lots. Breakfast was included in the price, restaurant is nice and offers variety of tasty food. Staff was friendly and ready to help. I highly recommend Fortuna Hotel.
