We booked this accomodation for 1 night, surrounded by the pure nature. Looking at 4 vulcanos at the same time. The owner and personal are very kind and open for a nice conversation. Although La Antigua is amazing city, there is no need to leave this marvelous hotel. I've visited dozens of hotels through my live. Most of them were wery good. But this one is above all of them and above my secret expectations. Highly professional service and staff as well as smooth music, that can be heard in common spaces and relaxing smells, build the atmosphere of wellbeing and luxury. Additional gems are free entrance to the meseum, to the pottery and chocolate workshops and the private, guarded, underground parking. What an amazing place. I wish everybody could stay there.

Set in attractive grounds in a small, typically Guatemalan community just outside (5 minutes by Uber) from the centre of Antigua, with stunning views of hills and volcanoes. Casa Buho is a family run bed and breakfast hotel with exceptional quality rooms. This was a great place to stay as we had already spent a month in town, but would also be good if you want to be away from the noise and bustle of the town.

Staying in this hotel was a great experience. There’s a strong and precise concept behind its set-up. The aesthetic is faithful to the colonial style, with big attention to the details. The furnishing reflects the style of the building and is somehow “essential”. I appreciate this kind of concept a lot, so I felt like at home. The atmosphere is very relaxing… there are plants all around attracting many brids tweeting in the morning. Rooms are very clean. There’s people doing maintenance to the garden and the structure every day and the staff was always kind and careful.

One of the most unique hotels I've ever stayed. Owner has thought of everything. The murals and design are extraordinary. There are ear plugs in the rooms--a thoughtful touch but I never found a need for them. There's a garden and a little kitchen you can use with tea and coffee available when you want it.
