Good place for fit hikers on cobbled paths to stone bridges, old villages and Vikos gorge - walking boots recommended. Vitsa also has a nice square where you can relax under a large plane tree and view the upper part of the village. Thassos is a excellent host - intelligent, kind, always ready to give good advice. Zagorochoria is a magical place, and Vitsa is probably the best choice of location - many routes start from it and all must see places are nearby. Lovely breakfast, with local produce and a wide variety of homemade desserts which were great.
