The hotel was impressively clean, and my seaview room offered breathtaking scenery that made work feel like a vacation. The food was delicious, especially the seafood. What made this trip stand out, though, was the peaceful ambiance and the incredibly friendly and professional staff. Akron Seascape Resort Hotel is a top choice. If you are looking for a unique stay on Corfu, this is it. The house is completely renovated in traditional style and the balcony gives you a wonderful view. We were welcomed by Andreas who proudly showed us the premises. Next to the house is an old olive press (almost a museum), a chapel and vegetable garden. You can see that a lot of love and work went into the project. The family is lovely, generous and seems very happy to share their place. They can be really proud. We wished we stayed longer.

We have just returned home from our 7 nights stay at Maria Beach appartments. Everything was wonderful. The staff were more than great. Thank you Akis for the late check-in and warm welcoming! The rooms we had were located on the ground floor with the pool and had full sea view. Literally 3 steps away from their private beach- however it has quite a lot of sea weed, we did not stay there, as had so many things to see during the day on the island. A few meters further, the Sidari beach was much cleaner. We had a large balcony and the room was a good size. The storage in the room was great to fit all the stuff(which were a lot btw). The bathrooms were a lot better than expected(from other reviews), recently renovated. The cleaning was done every 2 days, the rooms were spotless. There is a kettle in the room and AC had separate additional charge of 7€/day. The breakfast was basic but had everything that can start the day with. Everyday was the same type of food, the hot things was eggs(fried and boiled) bacon, sausages, then a few types of bread- fresh, butter, 2 types of jam, spread chocolate, honey, corn flakes, tomatoes, cucumbers, ham and cheese, watermelon, milk, some juices, water, tea and a coffee machine. As location- the hotel it is max 3 min slow walking distance from Canal D’Amour, literally next to it, the center of Sidari village is 5 min walking distance, which is great, as in the center there was a lot of noise, due to it’s nightlife. Great hotel, amazing staff, good food and perfect location. We would definitely recommend it and we would love to return one day! Thank you to all the people at the hotel (especially the morning shift) for making our stay great!

    There is something for everyone, adults & children.

    There is something for everyone, adults & children. I used to jump the local Green bus to Roda & Cassiopi, between 5/8 euros return. You can also use the blue bus into Corfu Town if you fancy large scale shopping, sitting at the port bistro and people watching, walking up to the castle..... being adventurous as you like. GO... and enjoy :D

    very clean resort, very accessible to all as it is flat, lots of affordable restaurants and bars, coffee shops, multiple affordable gift shops ,supermarkets and lovely people. Plenty of entertainment , lovely Beaches ,within walking distance. nice sandy Beaches- all clean. Transport system could be better if no Car hired.

    Sidari was too British for me and lacked the greek culture...

    Sidari was too British for me and lacked the greek culture that I have found in other resorts or greek islands. But some people may like it. If you enjoy home from home, Sunday roast, tribute acts and karaoke then you'll probably love it here. I prefer quiet and beautiful beaches and this was not found in sidari.

    We have been coming to sidari for 7 years. There's something for everyone, whether you want quiet restaurants, traditional greek cuisine/tavernas or modern amercian, mexican, indian, chinese dishes. There is entertainment on the main strip every night from quizes, bingo, karoke to tribute acts, live bands, football and rugby matches televised. All family friendly. There's also plenty to do, the beach is lovely, there are pedaloes, quad bikes, paragliding, snorkelling, boat trips etc. The biggest thing that draws us back are the people. They are so friendly and welcoming and

    Sidari was great for the sheer number and variety of restaurants and entertainment on offer, plus lots of reasonably-priced fift shops and supermarkets. Taxi rank in town, plus a regular bus service to other towns. The beach was lovely. Sidari is a great place for young people who want to sing and dance, and there are so many different venues for these activities. Name the Tune, Tribute bands, drag artistes, DJs, there's some of everything, and a variety of visitors can be catered for, including a lovely little park on the main strip to relax, or let the kids play on the swings. The age range of visitors is 12 to 120. Our favourite restaurant was right at the beach end of the strip, Greek Village, with authentic Greek music and dancing and lovely food, but the food in all the restaurants we dined at was reasonably priced and good.

    At first I was happy with location - many restaurants and...

    At first I was happy with location - many restaurants and beach very close. But once I visited other areas, I would go somewhere else. Sidari was full of drunk british people, all restaurant were just average. Beaches were dirty (full of rubbish) and crowded.

    Our accommodation was just on Canal de Amour, and the beach was just outside. The swimming pool was ok size. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beach is child friendly. Kids loved playing with the waves, using paddle boats and even parasailing. There are many restaurants and bars around the accommodation. We took a bus one day to go to Corfu town which was a good experience. People in Corfu town are very gentle, nice and ready to help.

    Location was great, 2 minutes to a beautiful beach, also close to supermarkets, souvenir shops, bars and the bus stop to Corfu town. Mario the bartender was so nice, friendly and hard working. Food was fine, varied. The 2 level pools were cool.

    Such a lovely place to stay. Lovely staff who were extremely helpful. So easy to get to the beach and local shops. Would recommend Salt and Pepper for food and my Corfu driver for cheaper taxis.
