Nice hotel on a beautiful place, kind and helpful staff. The bathroom should be renovated, but the room was good and clean. Food was OK, but not too varied for children. I enjoyed the stay here, would definitely recommend. :)

The rooms were always clean, personal was amazing and the location of the hotel is perfect. We had a car so exploring the island was easier so I really recommend renting car!

Everything was great! We had a pool and the beach was close and beautiful .All recommendations for the apartment which was clean and tidy. We had two terraces, one had a view of the garden and the other of the sea. ☺️☺️

Beautiful ! The hotel is absolutely beautiful! The host Nikos and his wife are very pleasant and helpful, every room has a sea view, it is very clean and the rooms are spacious. The pool is excellent and perfectly positioned. Parking is provided. Sunrise Hotel is highly recommended!

The entire experience all from check-in to check-out was just great! Excellent hotel with beautiful pool- and spa area. Breakfast and dinner served in a restaurant with nice view to pool and sea. Everything was very pleasant and tranquil, the food was delicious and the staff was incredibly helpful and also knowledgeable about the area. We very much enjoyed the pool area, the movie night and also the live music. Having a gym on site is an added bonus for those who want to do some training. Something that is amazing about this place is its history and the olive mill museum. Something that makes it stand out in our opinion is the attention to detail in every sense! Wherever you look! The architect behind this project did and is still doing an amazing job! In conclusion, a great experience which we will definitely repeat and recommend to others!

Amazing hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Always asking if we need something or if everything is okay. There was plenty of options at breakast, lunch and dinner and food quality was top notch! Rooms were clean and beautiful. Bed was great! Slept so well my whole stay there. Whole hotel had unique atmosphere and decor. Beach close in walking distance. We will be back here for sure!

I really wanted to write you to say that traveling around the world and providing different culture for our family is what we value the most. Knowing Greece was my biggest dream in my 41 years life… It is so special to have chosen somewhere so committed with the guests. We are very impressed and thankful. A good room with beautiful view was something so important to me and you found us simply the most beautiful room we could wish/deserve. Kids are enjoying everything, they loved the aquapark! I loved the wine menu available in the all inclusive experience. Our cretan barbecue during the sunset was a gift! This is the best resort we have ever been to, and when I say that, believe me, it is a huge thing! We have been to the best in caribean, Florida, Brazil, Portugal, Italy, Spain… As the music says: You’re simply the best! We will never forget these days!

    People say not much there, but we felt it had everything there. Good supermarket, beach good as not spoiled by sun beds all over so you can actually see the beach. Several great bakeries and some good restaurants to choose from. Bus stop into city if needed.

    Sfakaki is a nice area, a few tavernas with lovely food and great staff. Beach is about a 15 min walk. Supermarkets and coffee shop a short distance away. Regular bus into Rethymno. Options for day trips available.

    We stayed here for a week as a family of three. Our stay was a pleasure. The host frequently asked if we were happy and had everything we needed. The house has everything we need. The view of the sea from the upper terrace is perfect for morning coffee. The location is fantastic, and the beach is just 250 steps away. What also pleasantly surprised us, and our teenage son most, was the excellent internet connection. The shop is very close by. If we ever visit Crete again, we will definitely return.

    Nikos and Tonya are lovely hosts, very communicative and welcoming. We stayed in an apartment no.102. Big apartment with a separate bedroom and a huge balcony with a view towards the sea and the hills. The shower is very good, hot and powerful. The hotel has a nice swimming pool. Located 10kms from Rethymnon in an area with many new developments.
