Alonnisos and Patitiri is one of our favorite islands in Greece. This is the fourth time we have visited the island and there will be another visit next year. Here, life still goes smoothly, little stress, not overcrowded with tourists. And then they have the "best" Greek restaurant "OSTRIA" we have experienced in our 29 years of holidays in Greece. The island is great and would definitely recommend visiting it. The food was pretty expensive and we didn't have many great options either, a lot of places are tourist traps with bad quality of food and expensive prices. I would recommend Astrofegkia, Fanari and Dendrolimano because they have very nice food, but they were pretty expensive too. You should definitely visit Milia Beach (not Chrisi Milia), it is beautiful! We had 2 rooms on the top floor which had a large balcony area to share which made eating together easy as we had my mother with us. Check in was handled by someone from a neighbouring hotel as the owner was away the day we arrived. All handled via booking com app so no issue.
