We had a stay at the private villa in Lithakia (July 2021). We enjoyed the amazing Laganas beach with many really great restaurants and bars. Local tavernas, especially Ole Ole is something special. Very tasty and beutiful restaurant. Directly from the beach we bought great tours - turtle spotting (must-see, especially from the small taxi boat), small islands. It's still always a good idea to rent a car on Zakynthos just in order to see everything. The host Thanos was very quick with communication and very kind and helpful. The view is incredible and the access to the neighboring hotel facilities was quite good, sea access just a few minutes walk. Some aspects of hotel could be updated, but that is not the hosts issue as the apartment is separate from hotel. We had a wonderful time here and highly recommend. Theresa and her family made me feel welcome from the first second. Rooms are spacious, very clean and have everything one needs for a successful holiday. Luscious garden with free use of home-grown tomatoes and cucumbers not to mention the amazing sea views. Location is perfect next to the beach and Cameo island. We had access to the main hotel's swimming pools and breakfast.
