We had an amazing stay at Amaryllis! The Hotel Staff is extremely polite and helpful:) we had our room upgraded to bigger and with seaview, we were also allowed to stay longer due to late flight. Much appreciated. Hotel location is really good, you can have your morning coffee on the beach :) it’s also a good start point to travel around the Island. Pool is nice and there’s also a nice Restaurant. Hotel size is perfect, there’s everything you need but it’s not overwhelming and you may have your siga-siga holidays :) Definately recommended both for families and couples :)

Fantastic place in a resisters area of lardos , about a 7 min walk to the village square We loved the private garden / pool area which had sun beds , patio furniture and towels provided Inside the spacious studio we had a good kitchen area and a washing machine

The 3 rooms apartment is large and comfortable, with 2 bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Equipment is very complete. Our hosts Aris and Tota were very attentive. we received good Greek wine when we arrived, and Tota made us discover some typical Greek dishes... sunbeds are available free of charge on the beach, a shower is provided in the garden. the Mediterranean garden is very well maintained and contains some beautiful flowering and fragrant trees...

Excellent choice! Wonderful and spotless place, with an interior door that offered comfort and flexibility. The apartment had everything we needed – fully equipped and well taken care of. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal: just a one-minute walk from the beach and right in the center of the area, with a mini market, bus stop, and shops all nearby. We had an amazing stay, we were treated exceptionally well, and we will definitely come back! Thank you so much!

    Lardos is a quaint little village away from the pressing...

    Lardos is a quaint little village away from the pressing mass tourism of Lindos. You do, however, need to rent a car to get there and get around, especially if you are traveling as a family. If you are in Lardos, you have to dine at Hellas restaurant for outstanding service and food!

    lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town...

    lardos and Lothikaria Beach are a quiet sleepy little town with some good restaurants and bars. Its a good place to go and relax and close enought to visit Rhodes Old Town and Lindos. Its a great base with good transport links and a great Beach for swimming and snorkelling.

    The hotel was good generally with a nice swimming pool and very friendly and helpful staff. The food was all inclusive and very plentiful and generally well cooked. The hotel was spoiled by being on the main road through the town and so a fair number of vehicles going up and down with poor pedestrian facilities. Deciding to fix the water problems in the town as the holiday season began was a mistake and spoiled the town and the facilities in the hotel for a whole day. The trip to the Tsambika monastry was a holiday highlight but beware there are lots of steps to it and a long trek up a steep road before that. The Folklore museum in Lardos also a holiday highlight.

    Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak...

    Lardos village holds a Greek night every Tuesday during peak season ( starts around 9:30pm). This involves some Greek dancing and music in the pretty square. Be sure to book a restaurant table early if you intend to go. We particularly liked ‘Valentina’s’ - great restaurant and lovely owner. Lardos Bay hotel is a little out of town so taxis / hire car are essential if you plan to explore. Do yourself a favour and skip the bog all inclusive hotels and stay in the villages to experience the real Greek people and food - you will be hooked!

    There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed...

    There isn't much to do in Lardos, but the reason we stayed there is because it is near Lindos, which you really just need 1 day to be there, and the weather on this side of the island is better, less windy, the sea is calm and more sunny.

    Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper.

    Lardos is a nice small town close to Lindos but cheaper. Within 10 minutes driving you can visit Glystra Beach (sandy beach perfect for children), Plakia beach (not sandy but the colors of the sea are wonderful) and Pefkos beach (sandy beach). 20 minutes driving and you are at Agathi beach and it is very beautiful. For dining I recommend: Valantina’s restaurant (everything was delicious!) , Roulas (best moussaka tasted!) and Savvas (more rustic but the souvlakis are really good). I tried also the bakery at the corner of the main square and the orange cake was delicious and also the ice cream! Eating in Lardos is very satisfying and much cheaper than Lindos.

    It’s location in Lardos Village - off the main tourist track; the swimming pool was great; the bed was very comfortable; the air conditioning was great for sleeping; a cool bag with ice blocks made days out very easy; spacious with different locations to relax; well-equipped generally. The village has great tavernas just a short walk from the house. The owner was very responsive to messages and we appreciated that very much.

    Second time staying in Lardos and we couldn’t have been more comfortable and well looked after than at Valantina & Mannouel’s. There is everything you need and more. Impeccabley clean, well stocked, close to restaurants, supermarkets….. Valantina & Mannouel are extremely welcoming and available and their own lovely restaurant is a must - best portokalopita ever! We would not hesitate to go back and recommend to others.

    Adamantia left plenty of food in the fridge for our first morning AND delivered 3 frozen meals for us during our stay. The villa and grounds are beautiful, near to l8vely restaurants in Lardos, Popis Garden in particular. The pool was so good, it geing 38c plus most days. The shaded area at the end of the garden was our afternoon snooze place!
