We had the big flat in the middle of the tower. The sleeping room was huge with 4m high ceiling and a big and very comfortable bed. The sitting and dining room also huge as is the kitchen. A modern bathroom rounds it up. It is a historic old building with thick walls and a nice view overlooking the valley and the sea. Also, to mention is the spotless pool with a view across the valley to the mountains. Maria, the host, is a very charming person. She showed me around the house and the village. Even a tour to the usually closed, old church was included. Maria has a very wide knowledge of the village, its culture and knows the good places to eat and drink as well as which beach is the best when there are strong winds.

Beautiful art deco hotel with newly and tastefully furnished/decorated rooms in white. Nice balcony with furniture. There is plenty of hot water and toiletries in the bathroom, a fridge and kettle with cups, saucers and wine glasses. Exceptional pool area with an abundance of sunbeds, uv parasols, grass, and dappled shade under the trees. Huge pool. There is almost certainly a serviced bar in the pool area in high season, but it was very quiet in the hotel in early June. 10-15 minute walk into the main part of Chora for bars and restaurants and it's a €45-50 taxi from Gavrio port. Very friendly and helpful receptionist who booked restaurant and taxi for us as well as giving good recommendations during our stay.

Everything from start to finish was perfect at Vasskili. Nicholas and his family looked after all of our friends while they were in Andros for our wedding. The accomodation was in perfect walking distance to Andros Chora, and provided the perfect sit for us to all chill and enjoy each others company. Everything was great!
