The hotel is located in a Venetian house (probably 500 years old) in the heart of the old town. Recently renovated to a very high standard, it combines modern amenities with old, beautiful walls. Despite its central location, the square by the mosque turned out to be quiet at night. Very polite staff. Highly recommended.
 Driving into the narrow streets of the old town is, of course, impossible, so parking is available at a nearby city parking lot by the large square. A few minutes' walk is not an issue. Parking is covered by the hotel. We received precise instructions. Around 5 PM, we parked without any problems, but in the morning, we saw a long line of cars trying to get in. I think they could have waited up to an hour.

Dear team of The Amalen Suites. I would like to say thank you for our stay. I work in the hospitality and luxury industry and I was really surprised to find this kind of hospitality and this quality of service in your place. I appreciate all the detals founded in your room, it’s very personnalized. (Until the embroidery on the sheets, and towels) and thanks for the equipments and the good bedding!! Beautifully renovated room, modern, spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Quiet and safe neighbourhood, not too long a walk to beaches and old town, but a bit of an uphill to come back. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great new hotel. Everything works perfectly. The room is wonderful, as is the bathroom and the beds. Nothing is missing. Home automation at the top. Mary is super helpful and very welcoming. She was responsive to our messages and waited for us to arrive. The apartment was very clean and spacious. There’s a little kitchen with everything needed. It was just a 2min walk to the Main Street and beach. There is also a supermarket and restaurants around the corner. The hotel also has a little parking space. We would recommend Calmare suites to everyone! Thank you for the great hospitality ☺️

    Giorgio is the perfect host.

    Giorgio is the perfect host. We arrived at the villa very late at night and he was waiting to welcome us with a local Greek meal. The villa is equipped with all necessary kitchen utensils, basic ingredients such as salt, oil, coffee, tea, sugar, mineral water, beers, spices and more. Every morning Giorgio was interested in our daily plan and depending on the area we chose to travel he added more recommendations. His recommendations are great. We stayed in the villa for 8 nights, the villa is large and very well maintained with a pool and wonderful natural areas. On the morning of the trip back home, Giorgio came to say goodbye to us and we even received farewell gifts. Thank you Giorgio, you are a friend for life.
