The food was amazing. The beds were comfy. The room was clean and modern. Staff was friendly. It was a vibe. Definitely recommend for young middle-aged people or even older people who just want an absolute vibe. Me and my wife loved it. We're 35 years old. Most people were around 25 - 60, so it was a nice mixture of ages.

Loved our stay here. Michael was an amazing host with great recommendations. We didn't want to drive, so he always helped us with hiring taxis for our visits around the island. The apartment was also very cute, and had a homey vibe. My family and I enjoyed our time here.

    Very central to visit Corfu town by bus €1.60 e.w. for a day trip, gouvia is lovely, gr8 restaurants, fresh food & the beach was lovely, every restaurant we ate in was delish, especially the chinese restaurant, ooh and the bar with the Elvis tribute was brilliant and reasonably priced for drinks too. And I even got a great haircut at the local hair dressers, they were so friendly, we had a great relaxing holiday in Gouvia.

    I liked that the bus stop was just a 5 mins walk and it made it easy to travel to other areas. Gouvia however has a nice mix of shops, taverna's and bars. Just enough for my 6 night stay. I definitely recommend Aries restaurant and Kaktus beach bar.

    Gouvia is a village type resort that spiked off the main road to Corfu town . Lots of restaurants and a few bars / motorcycle rentals , supermarkets, tour trips booking centre and apartments and hotels , Everything you need for your hols to hand . The supermarkets are really reasonably priced . The restaurants are plentiful and also priced well . A bus runs every 20mins at the top of the road into Corfu town ( they do get very busy though ) Fare is €2.50

    Gouvia is a lovely area, I went with a group of girls in our mid twenties. It was very relaxing and some lovely restaurants (I would really recommend the seafood linguine at 9 muses). Gouvia has some lovely beaches within a couple of minutes of our hotel. It is typically people in their mid 50s but great for a more relaxing, lounge by the pool kind of holiday. We got the bus into the old town or Ipsos to go for drinks/club vibes, which were super easy to navigate and way cheaper than a taxi. I would definitely recommend Gouvia as a location but if you’re looking for more of a night life then I would look elsewhere on the island.

    It's a great little seaside village, lots of good restaurants and lovely location, BUT "Seaside Cottage - private garden retreat, was dirty and very inadequate, not in a fit state to be let for a holiday.

    We stayed in Gouvia as this was the base for a wedding party. Otherwise may not have chosen to visit, but would not be averse to staying there again for a late season sunshine beach holiday. A number of tavernas were already closing by early/mid October. Everywhere in Gouvia is accessible on foot, and other beaches/Corfu town easy to reach by car (if you are brave enough) or by bus.

    Loukretia and her staff were all so lovely, they will go above and beyond for any requests you may have! The pool is exceptionally clean and a nice temperature, a range of snacks, meals and drinks available at reasonable prices. Rooms were lovely and clean and must have recently been renovated in the main hotel as the hotel was modern. About a 10 minute walk up to Gouvia with transport links to many places right outside the hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

    Excellent location. Restaurants,cafes, shops all within easy walking distance. Bus service To Corfu town and the beaches are easy to use and get to. The hotel restaurant is excellent. Rooms are spacious and cooled well by air-con. Pool is never overcrowded, plenty of space. Boat trips from Gouvia can be booked in shop opposite the hotel and well worth it. Owners are relaxed and happy to help with anything.

    Perfect location for us - we stayed for a wedding nearby. Gouvia is small but lots of shops and restaurants within a few mins walking, as well as the beach also within a 5 min walk. Staff were friendly and breakfast was also nice. One review said no fruit, but I can happily report there was melon / watermelon every day on offer as well as cooked options and pastries.

    Lovely hotel in a quiet area but only a 10/15 minute walk to restaurants and bars in Gouvia. The staff were really friendly and breakfast had a great spread. There’s also two bus stops which provide easy access to visiting other areas of Corfu.

    Location is ok, in the back of the Iliada Hotel, but not as nice a building. Room is as described, although a bit cozy. I only spent one night there before flying out of Corfu. It's a good choice for short stay in Gouvia.
