Maira and her staff were AMAZING hosts, we didn’t want to leave we just felt like family. Breakfasts were incredible, stocked with items prepared by Maira and also small local producers (amazing Greek yoghurt, honey, cheeses and sweet treats!). Each day we would receive a different filo pie to take for lunch, extremely thoughtful. The rooms were very clean, quiet and well appointed. The views from the balcony over the ocean were such a great treat in the morning and evening. I want to go back! Very well located near Fiskardo town and also local tavernas and restaurants.

The location is perfect - very private and just a 3 minute walk into the heart of Fiskardo. This is a 3 bedroom home complete with cooking and laundry facilities, numerous decks and tables to choose from outside and excellent air conditioning in the bedrooms. Lots of room to spread out inside and out, and this would easily handle 3 couples or a family group. Best of all was our host Eleni who popped in several times to check in with us to answer any questions we had and make suggestions regarding things to do in the area. She was incredibly informative and helpful, very pleasant to deal with, and spoke excellent English. We really appreciated the welcoming gifts of jam and herbs, beer in the fridge, and a bottle of wine. We would not hesitate to recommend this villa as a wonderful place to stay especially as a quiet alternative to the hustle and bustle found at times in the centre of the village. The two outside cats were a welcome bonus!

Amazing location with nice sea view very near to Fiskardo town. All necessary items in the room, very silent, cleaning staff (Galina) was also really friendly and hard worker! Dario helped us with any request. We spent 10 days and the time flew very quickly!

    Lovely village.

    Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

    Small beautiful harbour village hosting tiny fishing boats, sailing holiday flotillas and some fabulous superyachts. Loads of waterside restaurants - our favourites are Captains Cabin, Elli's and Kyma. The people watching is off-the-scale! Can get busy between 11am and 2pm with day trippers. Evenings wandering around the harbour are magical. Theodora's have the best cocktails. Hire a car from the airport, it's a lovely drive up to Fiskardo and then you ca see other places. The roads are very good.

    You can tell why it's one of the must see places on...

    You can tell why it's one of the must see places on Kefalonia. Make sure you stay there and get up early to get breakfast at one of the harbour side cafes and watch the boats and their crew preparing for the day. It's not even expensive to eat out in the evenings, and the views are stunning.

    There's always so much going on in Fiskardo!

    There's always so much going on in Fiskardo! Beautiful yachts coming and going, bustling boutique shops and fabulous cafes, ice-cream parlours, cocktail bars and restaurants all along the harbour front that makes up the town. Locals are friendly, engaging and keen for you to enjoy your stay which is great too. Beyond the immediate harbour front are well signposted walks - e.g. to the lighthouse and beaches which are well worth exploring. We had some lovely traditional Greek meals in Kefalonia (mostly in Fiskardo and on Ithaki), but our personal favourite place was Foki Taverna (at Foki Beach about 20 mins walk from the harbour) where the local food is cooked well and served with a smile....also very cheap and with a lovely view to enjoy as you eat too!

    The harbour and the places for food and drink where 1st class, but above all the Balhambra suites where the jewel in the crown, what a delightful stay we had, definitely will choose this location again, thank you for a wonderful holiday break

    Bustling, beautiful and exciting.

    Bustling, beautiful and exciting. Great bars and delicious food. Our favourite place to eat was right on the front, served bar food and also had a restaurant at the side. Can’t remember the name but they play such good music, you just don’t want to leave.

    Fabulous hotel in the best location with an easy walk into Fiskardo or shuttle if you want it. The pools were beautiful with a short walk down to the sea from the main pool where you could jump in and snorkel. The adult only pool was relaxing and peaceful with plenty of shade. Excellent breakfast. Stunning views. Clean comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.

    Good location with the added bonus of a pool which is rare in Fiscardo. Apartments are comfortable & roomy. Patio at rear is a good size (room 2) and the view is lovely. Very peaceful.
