Wroxham is in a great position on the river with numerous boat trips and self hire boats available. There is an excellent Department store which was a real surprise. There were no real restaurants but a number of places to eat at a more informal level: pizzeria, fish & chips and a pub as well as a couple of cafes.

We went on a boat trip which started about 5 minutes' walk from the hotel and lasted ninety minutes. Really enjoyed looking at the waterfront properties and the wildlife - probably the best part of the weekend, apart from spending time together as a family. We took a trip to Blickling Estate in the afternoon and enjoyed our evening meal at the Thai Ubon restaurant.

Excellent location, capital of the Broads.

Excellent location, capital of the Broads. Lots of activity. Busy with boaters and visitors. Lovely to sit with a drink and just watch boating fun. Central location, easy to get to Cromer and Gt Yarmouth. Stayed at Kings Head. Nice stay, good staff. Table 14 (local cafe) excellent for breakfast and cake and in high street 2 minutes from Wroxham Bridge. Plenty of free parking in the area. Local train station with regular and steam trains for enthusiasts. Supermarket useful and well stocked.

    Came to enjoy the Broads.

Came to enjoy the Broads. Hired a 1927 wooden sailing boat one day and then a motor boat the next. Really enjoyed the whole feel of the place, definitely going back in time and Roys shopping village was wonderful, much better than online shopping and good value.

Lovely modern, comfortable home from home, great location on both the water and a very short walk into the centre of Wroxham. Plenty of kitchen and living space for multiple family or friends. Super comfortable beds, didn’t want to get up! Thoughtful welcome hamper contents to make initial arrival easy, and inclusion of the boat was just the icing on the cake. Leon, the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Can’t fault anything and would happily go back!

Good location right next to the Boards. Breakfast was plentiful and served quickly by very friendly staff on both days. Room was and bathroom were clean and well equipped. Some noise from the bar below but being a Pub Hotel this was expected.

This is an extremely well run Hotel in a perfect location on the river. It is small and cosy and is nicely furnished and decorated. It has the right level of comfort and class without feeling too pretentious or stuffy. Totally recommend

Central to Wroxham. Cottage was clean, also very warm and draught free despite the cold wind off the water, Very homely.
