Everything was great — the room was clean and spacious. The Sunday roast was great after a long day of walking Hadrian's Wall, and everyone (especially Andy and Shane) were extremely welcoming!

    A perfect, pretty English village with shop, cafe, good pubs, lovely railway station, village green, river walks, history to explore. Very peaceful and relaxing. Also a nearby small animal sanctuary worth a visit.
