Location superb,loved the Art Deco theme, music, History and furniture & furnishings. The staff were wonderful all in all a great experience. Loved that there were plenty of spaces to retreat to on your own.

Stayed here for 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. A big shout out to the staff, as they are the best feature of the hotel. The pools, the spa, the cinema room, comfortable bedding and Sticky Toffee Pudding! The staff at reception and restaurant are very friendly and polite..every single one of them!! Nothing is ever too much for them. We were even offered to use the spa post check out. The rooms are nice and decent size, with comfortable bed and stunning views across the bay. We were lucky with the weather so, spent an entire afternoon at the outdoor pool. The indoor pool and spa area was great too. However, the highlight remains the cinema room, which you can book for a private viewing. The Sticky Toffee Pudding definitely deserves a shout!

Ideal location, garden, hosts lovely. Janice is a very experienced host as evidenced from the extras in the property; provided an allergen free hamper. Dog friendly and cosy, thick cob walls, decor in keeping with the age. On the first floor the bedroom fresh & bed was comfortable. Outdoor living equally spoilt, parasol, choice aspects at table in morning sun, L shape sofa in afternoon sun over well stocked garden & water feature & escape to the shade bistro rattan at the back door against an old stone wall cascading red berries so pretty. The cottage is attached to the hosts home & side entrance through a side gate, it was very private and their presence welcoming, always smiling & relaxed. It was a charming experience & look forward to seeing them again.

    The village is very pretty and quiet. Just what we wanted.

    The village is very pretty and quiet. Just what we wanted. The Thurlestone Inn is a great Inn with a comfy relaxing lounge and an excellent menu. Fabulous staff and very popular. An off the main road base for visiting everywhere. It has a good beach and dramatic coastline.

    A quaint village nearby the coastal path, nice beaches with good local amenities. Be prepared to drive along narrow country lanes and enjoy walks in nature. Bring rain gear too as the weather is unpredictable. Look out for Rockbox as a great place to eat and hang out
