Great place to visit. Nice cafes pubs and restaurants. Shoreham is on the river Adur which is pretty. There is a foot bridge across. The houseboats along the river are interesting and make for a lovely stroll along. You can also walk onto Shoreham beach which is nice. Lovely , fairly quiet location with excellent access to Brighton, Worthing and further along coast and inland. Coastal path was good and easy to use. Shoreham a lovely town - except for the seagulls! Plenty of eateries at all times of day and evening. Lots of local information available and also locals very obliging re walking routesand access to the town re footbridge across estuary. I had a comfortable visit and can clearly see the time you have put into making the stay homely. Brighton is only a 20 minute drive away which is extremely convenient. The hosts are really friendly, our room was immaculate and extremely well equipped. Tea making facilities, a mini fridge, wine glasses (for the wine you've chilled in the fridge?), Sky TV, dressing gowns and beach equipment in the wardrobe etc. It's just a 10 minute walk to the railway station for frequent trains along the coast and a similar time into town for the restaurants, pubs etc. If we ever return to the area we will definitely look to stay here again.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom
