Ramsgate is a lovely place ,although some areas suffering from the effects of many seaside locations. We visited the Ramsgate Tunnels which wre amazing. The main beach is clean and ideally sandy for families. Lovely walks to the Westclff and Eastcliff ,also to Broadstairs. Really good Loop bus service around the whole of Thanet. Ramsgate is a very interesting place to visit with the Harbour area so'trendy' What a selection of very nice restauranrs , coffee houses, etc. There is a very nice, clean, sandy beach - when it is 'HOT' !! Ramsgate is a delightful seaside town. The harbour area is fab to wander around, the beach is wide and roomy, plus it was easy to walk along the beach / broadwalk to Broadstairs which is also a gorgeous town to visit (where we watched a band play on the band stand and played crazy golf). Parts very run down.But others bright and a lovely walk along the cliff promenade.A very good Pub at the harbour pavilion does excellent breakfasts and has a lot of family friendly facilities.
