Absolutely everything!! The building itself is exceptional, the rooms are beautiful, she water pressure in the showers is top notch, the food was divine, the open fire places in the lounges were beautifully lit in the evenings, and as for the service, wow!!! We can highly recommend this hotel!!!

The Stonehouse Hotel was a sight for sore eyes, (a pleasant surprise) after walking 5 1/2 hours on the Costwold Way. We loved the hotel, the grounds and our room. We also found the staff, specifically the young man checking us in (sorry didn't catch his name), a waitress named Asuka, and the bartender Yaughtski. Hopefully we spelled that right. Lol. Yaughtski without a doubt made our stay welcoming and fun.

Definitely a dog freindly hotel, nice walk around the hotel aswell as bins outisde to put dog waste in. Bar area was dog freindly and comfortable. Room was clean and provided AC. Only downside was it costing £15 to have the dog when there was nothing special provided just limitations to where we could go.

Best nights sleep in a long time. We booked this hotel at the last minute. All the staff were friendly and attentive, the food in the restaurant was great, the bed was large and very comfy and the room was quiet. Breakfast was huge and the grilled bacon was particularly delicious 😋. All in all this was a great hotel and I'd really recommend it to anyone passing through Stroud. Shout out to the manager for being awesome and Ash for his great dinner service and wicked highballs! 10/10 would definitely stay again.

Made to feel welcome and valued from the moment we arrived. Reception worked some magic to get us settled in our rooms early and given the very good room rates we couldn't fault the rooms, service or location. Great parking and lots of excellent eating options close by.
