The whole experience from start to finish was spot on. Communications from the hosts was very clear, keys and access to the property, parking, facilities and cleanliness were all outstanding and above all a warm welcome from hosts Toby and Holly on arrival set the tone perfectly for my short stay. I was in the area for work but I would also stay for here a relaxing break because as well as all of the above the location was so peaceful and tranquil (I had to allow reality to kick in and remind myself that I had to get my butt back into work mode in the morning). Above all the attention to detail throughout shows that hosts Toby and Holly care about their guests and their experience.

We stayed for one night on Saturday 9th November. We were made very welcome by the lovely lady at reception. She gave us some great ideas for where to eat in Spalding. Our room was spotless, bedsheets were clean, towels were lovely and soft and the heating was on. Room was toasty warm. We had no downsides or complaints except the breakfast. The fried egg was not runny, it was as if it had been sitting on a hotplate for a good while. Other than that it was delicious xx Thank you. We will be returning xx

The Bolthole was extremely well presented, everything was in new condition, carpets, white goods even a slow cooker was available if required. The bath room had a good size shower, bath and hand towels were provided, even a bathmate. The bed was extremely comfy and larger than a KIng size with additional length for tall people. Although a little isolated is was a lovely quite location over looking farm land and the countryside just perfect for a relaxing break There were plenty of places to eat in near by Spalding about 10 minutes drive to the village. Highly recommend would stay there again.

The only problem we had was driving down the narrow lane, to Rose Villa, in the dark, not very goo for pensioner who doesn’t like driving in the dark at the best of times. Apart from that, an excellent stay.

Very rural setting quite difficult to locate, as signage was non existent, due to local laws. No en suite, or cooked breakfast, but they did cater for all dietary requirements and tastes. Too far away from Spalding, off the beaten track, no bus route or safe walking access, but on the outskirts of a pretty village. YOU DEFINITELY NEED A CAR. It would make an excellent base for any driver wishing to explore the Lincolnshire area.
