Great owners very friendly and helpful. Good size room with tea and coffer available in the room. Good size bathroom with toiletries. Good view of the village from my room and quiet at night. If in the area will sure stay here again. You wont be dissapointed staying here

Everything! Room was large, clean and comfortable. Ensuite was lovely. We could open the windows for fresh air. Staff were lovely and breakfasts were great! Would stay here again.

    The place is nice, quiet and has everything needed for a stay. With the short driving distance there are a lot of places to go: starting from sandy beach, puffin watching spot and finishing with museums and even distillery tours. Hosts are very welcoming and go above and beyond for any of your needs.

    Mintlaw is a small Town with a few pubs and a Garden Centre. Aden Country Park if good for a walk or Nature Ramble. It is a good base for exploring the North East Corner of Scotland and links to the Formartine Way for Ramblers and Cyclists

    Breakfast was excellent. It was a lovely quiet little village, with facilities nearby in Mintlaw. Loved that there was a little gate with access to Aden Country Park, so no need to drive around to the main entrance. Out dog was made very welcome at no extra cost and even got a free sausage for her breakfast. Most definitely will check for availability when up in the area next time. Excellent value for money.

    Lovely little hotel, very friendly staff, very nice food. Nice snug bar for a drink, frequented by the locals. Very nice full breakfast of locally sourced produce. Food reasonably priced. Room rate a little higher than the rate elsewhere in the area, but not unreasonable. Worth the extra for the service. Pet friendly lodge house for the fishing/ shooting types.

    From the warm welcome to the final departure it was an excellent experience. Very well appointed airy room with comfortable bed, desk and good shower. The breakfast was first class and worthy of a 5 star hotel. Finally the wi-fi was fast and stable.

    The Hotel was lovely, Staff excellent, I did not want a big meal and they made me a smaller meal that was not on the menu really nice. Room very spacious and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a lovely log fire burning.
