We had a lovely chat with the host on arrival and sorted out what we wanted to do that evening. Despite rain we got up early and went for a walk on the road heading toward Goudhurst listening to the birds and watching the rabbits and deer. E then had homemade muesli, and our wonderful cooked breakfast arrived exactly when we asked for it. The room far exceeds other hotels in terms of quality and comfort. From tea and coffee selection to toiletries, the quality was impressive. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The hotel is very charming and you feel really at home. Everything was thought about with a variety of teabags, oat milk and even calming spray in the bathroom. Had everything I needed and more!
