Late September short holiday, weather was generally kind. Plenty of walking trips, trip to the Broads and on the one day that it rained we had a fun afternoon enjoying the peer theatre show. Parking in the town is expensive but is free after 6pm. Cromer is what it is the gem of the Norfolk coast.
Cromer is what it is the gem of the Norfolk coast. Beautifully beaches seaside shows on the pier all year round. Plenty of shops, places to eat, imuding Indian Thai Chinese and English. Nice pubs. Dog friendly, surfer freindly family friendly. Just bootyful. Stayed at bakery cental a lovely apartment on outskirts of Cromer not far from golf club and on a bus route. Cromer is our happy place. Crazy golf, arcades, crabbing off the pier or rock pooling in the sun. Pretty sunken gardens to while away the day in the sun.Guest review byHeidiUnited Kingdom - 8.0

We visited the Cromer area to tour North Norfolk.
We visited the Cromer area to tour North Norfolk. Our stay was in high season, August, and parking was a difficulty at some of the resorts, including Cromer. We visited NT properties and quieter places, but made it to the Norfolk Broads, too.Guest review byCole

The flat was clean and decently-equipped - a perfect base for exploring Cromer and the North Norfolk coast. The landlord was helpful, welcoming and flexible. Be aware that there's an electricity meter, which takes £1 coins. We didn't need any heating (though hot water was plentiful), so spent only about £3 for the week. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was luxurious with a roll top bath and walk-in shower. The breakfast was good and dinner we had on one evening was nice. Decor in the hotel was interesting with original features and stained glass windows. Good location to walk to the pier and town. Was very impressed with my room (the herbal and biscuits are superior to some corporate hotels). Swimming pool was lovely (could just do with some new pool noodles for the children).
