Superb, friendly unpretentious country hotel in beautiful location. So good to be able to open the windows and listen to the birds singing. Great place to take the dog - very relaxed and wonderful walks on the doorstep. Staff hugely knowledgeable about the area and nothing is too much trouble!

Excellent hotel. Friendly helpful staff with top-notch customer service skills. Good sized and very clean en suite rooms. Breakfast & evening meals were 10/10. Steve was very friendly and helpful. Our 2 dogs were also made very welcome. The bed was extra large and very comfortable. There are 2 pubs nearby or travelling time to Penrith would be around 15 mins.
