In a great location in the charming village of Corrie. One beautiful hotel from the 1850's. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room had a lovely sea view and everything you need for a nights stay. Dinner menu was great too. Very quiet and peaceful. So pleased we stayed here.

The hotel’s location was the reason I chose it, and I wasn’t disappointed! I also had dinner, breakfast and drinks there, and in addition to a cosy atmosphere and very nice staff, the food was top notch! Lastly… if you are able, try and book the rooms facing the bay, and be treated to incredible sunrises! I can’t wait to stay there again. Bonus point, it is easily accessible with public transport.

Charming village on a beautiful bay, with views of the tallest peak on the island. Many interesting little shops, a terrific bakery, and a pub. But too few places are open to eat in the evenings. Easy to shop for groceries for self-catering.

Brodick is a nice little place on the beautiful island of Arran and is well worth a visit for a day trip, a weekend or longer. Arran in general is a great place for a short or long trip to get away from things on the mainland for a bit. just watch out for the midges in the evening.

Very cool little town with plenty to do for a 3-5 day trip. Great hiking, everything easily accessible on foot. Great base for exploring Isle of Arran. Busses can get you anywhere else in the island you want to be. Easy ferry to the mainland.

We came to Arran for personal, nostalgic reasons and enjoyed ourselves so much we are planning to come back with other family members. Everything about our stay was a pleasure, with a highlight being the Arran Museum, so interesting and informative, and their cafe had the most delicious homemade food (all from one cook I believe, kudos!). Our explorations were so engrossing we didn't go to Brodick Castle, so that will be something for next time. We even found lovely, personal souvenirs in the thrift shop by the quay while were parked in line for the ferry! We rented a car and appreciated the freedom it gave us, though communication with the ferry service was nerve-wracking. May I suggest better information and directions to the standing stones and other prehistoric riches, and whether hiking shoes would be appropriate?

Have now stayed at this hotel 4 times. This itself speaks volumes. Staff are excellent and breakfast are amazing. Room was a little warm however there was a rare heat wave at the time. Lets not complain as it is Scotland :) . Arran is a wonderful Island to visit as is this hotel, albeit a little expensive.

The highlights of our 4 nights visit were definitely Allan's wonderful hospitality and the incredibly generous and high-quality breakfast. Our room was spacious and enjoyed amazing views across to the mainland and of Goatfell. The guesthouse provides great value for money when compared to other Arran options and is only a couple of minutes from the ferry terminal and the large Co-op supermarket. If we return to the island, then we will book The Belvedere again without any hesitation.

Charlotte was a great host; when I had issues with my ferry, she reassured me I'd still be able to check in and got it all set up for me to arrive late! She was also very approachable to ask about Arran generally and cooked a full breakfast for us each morning (much needed pre the long hikes). Room was really charming, with blackout blinds, lovely comfy bed and a nice size and amenities like tea/coffee, desk, mirrors, lots of plug sockets.

Fantastoc property, having stayed on a few propoperties over the years on Arran, Goatfell lodge has been, by far, the best. T3 out fo 4 bedrooms were ensuite, big kitchen to prep and cook the family meals. Loads of space if waned a wee bit of quiet time. Really well stocked in the kitchen. Location absolutely sells it. Right next to the Auchrannie hotel and spa, and literally 8 min walk to the local co-op for essentials.
