    Bellingham is only a small village but it has everything you...

    Bellingham is only a small village but it has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There's a couple of nice gift shops, some lovely little cafes, a butchers, coop, a couple of pubs and lots of nice local walks. It's also located near to other local attractions like Kielder Forest and the observatory.

    Good range of shops for a small village, well stocked CoOp.

    Good range of shops for a small village, well stocked CoOp. Plenty of pubs to offer choice. Very friendly staff in all. Very nice village. Lovely river and plenty for walkers or cyclists. Close to Kielder Forest and Water.

    Dinner menu was modestly priced , as it should be the food was only modest. We do not eat cooked breakfast and I can only say the continental option was aweful. This hotel is seems mainly to be used by groups of hikers whom I assume get special rates. It also seems to be aiming to be a wedding venue,cricket club and an outdoor beer garden. Certainly not a upmarket hotel. It is however in a stunning location.

    We stayed at The Fountain Cottage and Cafe.

    We stayed at The Fountain Cottage and Cafe. Beautiful accommodation, room was lovely, bathroom gorgeous with super shower. The food was delicious and staff were so nice, really helpful. I'll definitely be back. Lovely village with great walks and a great selection of shops. Highly recommend.

    A really nice friendly village.

    A really nice friendly village. It has a Co-op as the main food supplier. Bakery,butcher a few cafes, pubs , Chinese take- away. Tea on the Train was a good experience it’s a cafe in a stationary carriage at the heritage centre . Bellingham is a nice space to spend time and get your food supplies.

    This is my first time staying in Bellingham for leisure.

    This is my first time staying in Bellingham for leisure. I sometimes travel through on my way to work in Kielder and around Northumberland so have never got to experience the town proper. Some great places to eat including the Fountain Cottage and Happy Valley and cute local shops such as Olive and Myrtle and Natural Northumberland. Recently our friends opened their brewery at the old ambulance station, F&L (First & Last) which also has a tap room opened 09.12.2022 - this addition to the town and previous positive visits will ensure my return for both work and leisure

    We really enjoyed our stay here on our long walk from John o Groats to Lands End. The facilities are excellent if you are walking or cycling etc. The kitchen facilities to make your own breakfast or dinner are really good and our room was so comfortable. Shower was great. Very dog friendly. Close to facilities in Bellingham, but we didn't bother as we enjoyed Brown Rigg and the surrounding countryside.

    Great location for exploring Northumberland. Immaculately clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. Walking distance to Bellingham for shops etc. Great hosts, informative and responsive. Great place to stay. Would recommend and would return.
