There was plenty of space (the property was huge) and the private pool was perfect - surrounded by lemon trees and bushes, There was everything we needed in the propery and different access points to the bedrooms - which was useful. There were enough restaurants in the town to cater for our needs and there were several very cool gorges to swim in nearby. We would definitely visit again and would thoroughly recommend the wine from Pierre's vineyard. There is a museum which is based around the find of the Tautavel Man and there are plenty of things to do in the area. The beach is only a 40 minute drive away and there is a gorge nearby where you can swim. There are plenty of castles to visit in the area too. Our host were extremely accommodating and provided us a crib for our 19 month old.
