Very cosy and comfortable apartment with nice little touches and everything you need even for a long-term living. Was perfect for our family of 3. We also much appreciated a very friendly communication, a warm welcome note and complimentary bottle of natural apple juice from Delphine. The location was convenient for us as it was our first night stay on our road trip around France on our way from Luxemburg. We also found the most delicious eclaires we ever had in one of the bakeries in one of the villages nearby for breakfast.

La Cambrousse lives up to its name, it’s out in the countryside and absolutely worth a visit. La Cambrousse is providing an excellent experience - the rooms are cozy and the whole place has a pleasant atmosphere. The food served in the popular restaurant is alone worth a visit. We are really glad that we decided to stop here and enjoy the hospitality and food - highly recommended.

Family of 4 with a baby, one-night stay. The apartment is located in a quiet town which was fully destructed during the "battle of Verdun". Perfect location- less than 10 min drive- (or even walking distance) to Fort Vaux, Fort Douaumont, The Memorial... We stayed on the second floor apartment that has 2 big double-bed bedrooms. Very child friendly place: Sophie (the owner) had left a baby bed with it's linen prepared in one of the rooms. The apartment has a big south facing private garden (ie. sunny and away from the main road) Just by (30 meters away) there is a small park with swings that my older son enjoyed. Really good attention and communication with the owner at all times through WhatsApp.

The location, price, and host’s hospitality were perfect for me. The place is modest but suited me perfectly. I loved the village’s quietness—it was an ideal retreat after a busy day. We stayed here for 1 night on our way to Switzerland the host Hugo was always quick to respond to any questions and was very accommodating. The home was beautiful we could not fault it. This was a perfect start to our trip. The key lock box for us was a huge bonus as we were arriving in the middle of the night we had no pressure as to when we had to be at the home and having the key lock box meant we could arrive whenever we wanted without disturbing Hugo. This home and host were amazing and we would highly recommend. Thank you again for letting us stay.
