Breakfast was brilliant. We even cooked our own breakfast . Claire was very kind to accomodate that for us. SHe even took us around to the river side and we had glass of wine with her firend by the river. Overall it was an awesome feel @ home experience with Claire. Love you Claire ! Come to India soon and we would love to host you !

Extraordinary location right opposite the Chateau, so that you can wander out after dinner and see it flood lit, or walk in the gardens early before most visitors arrive. The rooms are very comfortable rooms and the staff very welcoming and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant which was also excellent but unfortunately didnt have time to try out the spa.

This was a perfect place for us to stop over for the night with our one year old daughter (who particularly enjoyed the giant teddy bear). The breakfast was delicious, the facilities were clean and the staff were lovely. As we were so pleased, we re-booked this hotel for our stopover when returning home.

Even by the high standards of the Mercure chain of hotels, this one is exceptional. A beautiful, modern building which is mostly a giant, glass-roofed atrium, it provides huge, airy, light spaces. The bar in the atrium is a very comfortable and pleasant place to sit. There is a good indoor swimming pool plus sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. We ate very well in the restaurant. The bedroom was spacious and well equipped.

The hotel was really easy to find and was located well for visiting the area. We came to see Chambord specifically and chose the hotel just for the one night. Great choice! It was very clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay. The staff were really nice and helpful and the breakfast was good and there was plenty of it. All round a good place to spend a few nights.

    Was surprised to find such a nice hotel in that small village, Few rooms but mine was nicely set, well renovated with a huge bathroom, clean and confortable, quiet even with windows on the road. The great plus is that you are above the 1 star Michelin restaurant so you are sure to spend a great evening. Also near to Chambord, so great location for the Loire valley chateaux. Great value considering the reasonable price of the room.

    The house is beautiful and spacious with fantastic outdoor living spaces, ideal for a large group. We highly recommend the local hotel restaurant, Relais de la Loire and the Charcuterie, both within close walking distance. The management company was quick to respond when we had a power outage and the check in communication was excellent.

    The room was clean and comfortable and both breakfast and our evening meals were delicious. However, what makes this hotel excellent are the staff. Everyone was helpful, welcoming and made our holiday special. I would happily stay here again.
