The location is only a few minutes from the city center near the old church. The security on the entrance is very good, quite safe. The room itself was fantastic and very comfortable. Our only issue is we couldn’t get the fireplace to work. But everything else was perfect.

Very nice and calm location on the edge of a lovely city. Super starting point to explore a region full of history and nice locations. The host is providing a lot of information to inform you on the possibilities. If you stay with children you will find a lot of materiel for them to play with. The terras is great with a super view on the environment and completely made safe for children. You have a private parking spot in front of the garage.

    It a lovely town with a great square and very good restaurants. Markets are held on Friday morning. We ate at a great tapas bar Steph & Coco, and breakfast at the Boulangerie on the square , both well worth your custom.

    The town was busy and sprawling but had every amenity. I believe the river is lovely but we didn't find it. Fabulous supermarket (ELeclerc) and lots of other outlets we didn't visit. Nice place for visiting really interesting places like Carcassonne and Mirepoix. The local bubbly is very acceptable.

    Historic town set on the river Aude!

    Historic town set on the river Aude! Needs a complete makeover and a lot of money spent by the commune to revive business! However it is an unpretentious, honest little town with good infrastructure and close to many areas of interest. Many restaurants, bistro’s to choose from. Good Friday market! Definitely worth a visit!

    Limoux is a great little town.

    Limoux is a great little town. Lively and beautiful, with a lovely ‘old town’, lots of easy parking, a gorgeous fast flowing and clean river,plenty of life even in winter, a nice market on Fridays in the square, surrounded by cafes and bars. The new part of town has all essential commerce and a good sized population. Buses to lots of nearby places for only one euro! I’m going back ASAP!

    La Monèze Basse is run by a very friendly, helpful Dutch couple who made us feel very much at home. Its location , just outside the centre of Limoux, is excellent. It is quiet but with a restaurant close by. Our room was spacious with a large modern bathroom( great shower). We really appreciated the ceiling fan which was very efficient. Breakfast was lovely, especially the home made jams. The Chambre d’Hotes represented excellent value for money.

    I stayed 2 nights for a wedding in the area. The hotel is 3 min walk from the main square and the river, and 1 min from a Carrefour Express if you need it. The hotel is charming and very clean, the staff are friendly and the Manager even offered me a bottle of water to take to my room when I asked him to fill up my water bottle. I would go back for sure!

    The location is very good, in the old centre. Lots of parking nearby on the riverbank. The town is quiet and very well located to visit area. Big supermarkets are close by but can only be reached by car. Having a car is the best option to go to Limoux. To open de main door with the code was tricky in the beginning but after while we got the hang of it.

    The apartment was perfectly located in a quiet street in a beautiful part of Limoux. Close to the river and all its nature and close enough to town, to the swimming pool, to the station, to the restaurants. We met Frederick who was really helpful. It's a perfect apartment with plenty of space and very comfortable. In the best area.

    Second visit- here in 2018. Still delightfully French! Quirky with fab salon, bathroom and glorious bed and only 100m from the lovely Limoux square’s cafes, bars and restaurants. Parking nearby and a great launchpad to the area.
